First Delivery in Forest Rigdge . . .

Okay, so obviously I haven't done the best job at updating my blog! Unfortunately, we have gotten nothing done at the house in a week and a half due to a wrong brick delivery and some horrible weather :-( On a happier note! We should be resuming construction first thing in the morning and are told that the foundation will be done by the weekend! Yay! To keep you all updated, Here are some pictures of the very first delivery that made Mike oh so Happy!!

You can really see the beautiful lot right here! The trees behind us are technically on another lot. We're really hoping that no one will ever buy it so it will look like this forever!

This really shows the rebar and wood used to make the concrete forms for what will eventually be our footings!

And of course, here is Happy Mike as promised! Take note people, this is rare!!

On a side note, while we were inspecting our first delivery we realized that our lot must flourish with wildlife every night! We're going to have to keep a good eye on the boar hound and the bird dog we call our pets ;-)

We have both deer and raccoon tracks in one night! Also note the white sand, although there is quite a bit of mud out there we also have a lot of white beach sand. We are that close to Emerald Isle!
