Chemo Delay

So although we have taken a lot of steps forward toward getting Mike home in the last few weeks we took a tiny step back last night. Mike spiked a fever of 102 degrees. It came right down with Tylenol but the doctors don't want to start chemo until he has had antibiotics for 18 hours. They can't decide if the infection is in his lungs or bladder so they are going to give him the antibiotics for both. So chemo will begin tomorrow!  Luckily, that means no radiation or chemo today and he can take it easy and rest up.
